So this is my Halloween image, shot on the A7rii with the 24-70 G master at 24mm, f3.5, iso 640 I still love the ii because you can move the focus point on the app when you use that to shoot with, which makes shooting like this much easier. I used the Nanlite PavoTube ii 6c for the red colour. Rotolite Neo ii at 100% taped inside my little Elinchrom soft box for a nice softer light, making the shadow transition much more pleasing. I have included the straight out of camera image also for comparison and the BS images to give you the overall feel for what went into creating this image. Processed in LR and tweaked in PS.
This shoot was a little bit of a faff in that I was the model and the photographer, and any adjustments I made I had to get out of the cupboard make them and climb back in. Thank goodness I could remotely trigger the A7rii and select a focus point right from my phone, that really made life a little easier, I have no idea why this function was taken away from the newer cameras.
